The explosion rocked the room
and I tried my best not to let the
pallor of fear
show-
"Did you feel that?!" yelled another soldier-
No shit, everyone did
"I wonder if that was close enough for a
CAB*."
as if being shot at could really be called
'action'
"Hey, what do you think? Was it close enough?"
I looked back at him,
I could never understand one's desire to
be so close to death-
I just shrugged my shoulders and went
back to work-
Then again, I was in a combat zone too...
