you fill it with all the rest
of the shit
in your life
like
booze, drugs, and sex
all just to numb the pain,
but the pain won’t go away
so you fill up on more
and more
until you’re bursting and
explode!
All your pieces come tumbling
down,
in chaotic heaps,
where not even your friends can
pick you up.
All they can do is shed a tear as you
crumble
into nothingness-
all because you opened your heart
looking for love
and all you found
was
heartbreak.
